Hello, My name is Mike Harper and I am the current owner of Harper's Nursery. This nursery has been in my family for over 60 years. Delia Harper, my great-grandmother, started a greenhouse raising potted plants back in 1941. In 1948, my grandmother Reatha Harper began raising potted plants as well as orchids and floral arrangements. Then in 1963 my father, Roland Harper, started growing azaleas and other types of plants, doing mainly wholesale for about 40 years. During this time I began working with my father until my father retired from the business in 1999. Since then, we have started a retail garden and stone center with all kinds of nursery related products. We are currently a grower, retailer, and wholesaler operating on around 25 acres of nursery related area striving to bring new ideas to the nursery, garden and stone business.
